Electrician
Jacksonville, FL
In This Role, You Will
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks for new construction, remodeling, and service calls according to project specifications and safety guidelines. This can include but not limited to laying conduit, pulling wire, setting poles, installing switchgear, installing and wiring for light fixtures, wiring for equipment and appliances, replacing electrical panels.
- Diagnose electrical issues and propose effective solutions to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the owner and master electrician to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Keep vehicle stocked with regularly used materials.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Collect payment in the field.
- Adhere to all relevant safety standards and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.
- Train electrician helpers and less experienced electricians on best practices and standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- Holds a driver’s license in the state of Florida with a clean record.
- Has 2+ years of experience running a van as an electrician.
- Has ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- (preferred) Holds Journeyman or Master Electrician License with good understanding of NEC code and local regulations.
- Has physical stamina to work in diverse environments, including confined spaces and at heights, while proficiently handling tools and materials common in the electrical trade.

- $24 - $30 hourly pay based on experience and qualifications
