Highly Recommend
I have a need for subcontractors as a landlord of many rental properties and for my personal home. Current Electric always sends us, prompt professional technician’s that handle our issues with skill care and diligence. Large or small jobs, the level of service never disappoints. Perfect Work
I can’t say enough great things about Current Electrical Contractors to do them justice. The project coordinator was great with scheduling. Kept them coming back until everything was done as requested. The electricians were fantastic! So respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and perfect work. I can honestly say they were the best electricians I’ve ever had work in my house and I’ve had many houses. I highly recommend Current Electrical Contractors. You will be very happy!

Much Better Pricing
I’m so glad I went with this company. I had originally gotten a quote from somewhere else and the price was so high I almost gave up on my project. I ended up calling Current Electrical for a second opinion and not only was the pricing much better, but the technicians were much more thorough as well. Everyone has been super professional and nice to work with – I’d highly recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer financing?
Yes, you can get your panel replacement and/or service upgrade installed without any upfront cost.
Do kitchen and bath remodels require electrical permits?
Yes if you are adding, removing, or moving any of the electrical outlets, lighting, or circuits. This ensures everything is installed safely and meets current electrical code.
We handle permitting and inspections so your remodel stays compliant and on track.
When do I need to upgrade service or replace my panel during a remodel?
You may need a panel or service upgrade if your home doesn’t have enough capacity for new electrical demand.
Common signs include:
– Frequent breaker trips or overloaded circuits
– Adding multiple high-power appliances
– Limited space in your existing panel
– Older panels not designed for modern loads
Kitchens in particular often require additional dedicated circuits, which can push older systems beyond their limits.
We evaluate your panel during the initial consultation and let you know if an upgrade is needed—or if your current system is sufficient.
Do you handle electrical demo before the remodel starts?
It depends on how your project is set up.
In some remodels, a separate demolition contractor (not the electrical company) handles the initial teardown. In those cases, electrical should still be safely disconnected beforehand to avoid hazards.
We can handle electrical demo and disconnection, but it needs to be planned and included in our scope. Be sure to discuss this during your onsite visit so everything is coordinated properly.
Be sure to mention this during your onsite visit so it can be included in your quote.
Do you need to know what appliances we’re installing?
Yes—early appliance selection is very important.
Knowing your appliances ahead of time allows us to properly plan circuits, voltage, and placement. This helps avoid costly changes later, especially after drywall is installed.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — every installation includes a 1-year warranty on parts and labor (special terms and conditions apply).
How much does kitchen remodel electrical cost?
It depends on the scope of your remodel. The best way to get an accurate number is with a quick site review and quote.
How much does bathroom remodel electrical cost?
It depends on the scope of your remodel. The best way to get an accurate number is with a quick site review and quote.
What if I want to relocate lights—what happens to drywall?
Relocating lighting typically requires opening drywall.
We do our best to keep cuts clean and minimal, but some drywall repair is expected during most remodels. As electricians, we focus on the wiring and installation—drywall repair is usually handled by your contractor or as part of the renovation process.
We don’t have electrical plans—can you help with layout and design?
Yes, we can help.
If you have ideas but not a finalized plan, we can work with you to design a layout for lighting, outlets, and circuits based on your space and goals. Design and planning may involve an additional fee depending on the scope.
Do you help pick out lighting fixtures?
Homeowners typically select their own fixtures.
We handle the installation, wiring, switches, and mounting requirements. It’s best to choose fixtures early, as different lights may require specific supports or electrical boxes.
Will I have power in my kitchen during the project?
No—power to the kitchen is typically turned off during much of the project so other trades can work safely.
Temporary power may be available in nearby areas, and full power is restored once final electrical work is complete.
What about lighting while work is being done?
Temporary power and lighting can be provided if needed to keep the workspace usable during the project. This can be included for an additional fee.
Do I need to move appliances out of the way?
Yes.
Appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ovens should be cleared from the work area before electrical work begins. This allows us to work safely and efficiently without delays.
