RV Power Hookup Installation

01

Listen to Your Needs

We start by listening — your concerns, your goals, and what you’re looking to get done.

02

Evaluate Your Setup

We review your panel capacity, determine the right outlet type (30A or 50A), and confirm whether your installation is standard or custom.

03

Transparent Quote (Custom)

If your project requires upgrades, longer wiring runs, or other custom work, we provide a clear breakdown of the scope with straightforward pricing before any work begins.

04

Installation

We install the proper breaker, run a dedicated circuit from your panel, and install the RV outlet in the agreed location.

05

Walkthrough

We test the outlet to ensure safe, reliable power for your RV and walk you through your new system.

06

Warranty

All of our installations come with a one-year parts & labor warranty (special terms and conditions apply), giving you confidence long after the job is done.

Adventure Ready

Maintain batteries, refrigerators, and systems so your RV is always ready when it’s time to travel.

Reliable Power

A properly rated RV outlet installed in the right location ensures safe and reliable power for both your RV and your home.

Mold Prevention

Run air conditioning or a dehumidifier while your RV is parked to help prevent humidity, mold, and interior damage.

Guest Ready

An RV hookup allows visiting family to stay comfortably and can even create an opportunity to rent your RV space.

EV Ready

A 50-amp RV outlet can also support Level 2 EV charging, adding flexibility for future electric vehicles.

Where We Install RV Outlets

We install RV outlets in convenient locations so you can easily plug in wherever your RV is parked.

Standard Installation

— For MOST HOMES

Install a GFCI-protected RV receptacle box within 50 feet of your electrical panel. Ideal for homes with available panel capacity and a straightforward installation.

If your installation requires upgrades or falls outside the standard scope, we’ll let you know before any work begins.

Custom Installation

— For COMPLEX OR NON-STANDARD INSTALLS

Choose this option if your RV outlet needs to be more than 50 feet from the electrical panel, requires electrical upgrades, if you have custom installation requests, or are unsure which option is right for you.

We’ll review your setup and provide a custom quote for the work needed.

Do I need surge protection for my RV outlet?

Most RVs do not have built-in surge protection, and their electronics can be sensitive to voltage spikes or power issues. While surge protection is not required, many RV owners use it to protect their RV systems. We can also install whole-home surge protection, which helps protect your RV as well as other appliances and electronics throughout your home.
